Website School Charter

This is our school charter. In this document you will find our school mission statement, our vision, our gospel values, information about our school and our strategic aims.

PB4l - positive behaviour 4 learning!

We are a PB4L school. This means that we have established clear expectations as to what a responsible, respectful and a ready to learn student looks like. These expectations are explicitly taught to the children in learning through play, Religious Education, circle time, inquiry and in general classroom routines.

School Newsletters

Each week our school newsletters will feature some learning around the 3 Bees - Be Responsible, Be Respectful and Be Ready to Learn. Go through these entries with your child and ensure that they understand the expectations that are discussed.

We want to always try and "live above the line" rather than choosing to "live below the line". We don't want to be like "Bri-an below the Li -ne."

These are our school gospel values, as decided by our community. These values are explicitly taught through our Health Curriculum.

National Standards Data 2017

88.8% of students are AT or ABOVE National Standard expectations in mathematics.

National Standard Data 2016

This data is collated over the school year and is reported to the Board and to the Ministry of Education. The National Standards set clear expectations that students need to meet in Reading, Writing and Maths in the first eight years of school.

The data is collected at the anniversary of a student's first year at school, at the anniversary of their second year at school, at the anniversary of their third year at school, then at the end of Year 4, Year 5, Year 6, Year 7 and Year 8.

We report National Standards to parents at the end of year, in our school reports. We will indicate the Year level that your child is currently working at, in these reports. (eg. If they are a Year 8 and working at a Year 6 level or if they are a Year 4 working at a Year 7 level etc...)
