3 Bees For Learning

We are a PB4L school. This means that we have established clear expectations as to what a responsible, respectful and a ready to learn student looks like. These expectations are explicitly taught to the children in learning through play, Religious Education, circle time, inquiry and in general classroom routines.

We have posters around the school in different areas that outline the expectations we have for behaviour.

We want to always try and "live above the line" rather than choosing to "live below the line". We don't want to be like "Bri-an below the Li -ne."

Sometimes some students need support with their choices and their behaviour. Teachers encourage students to reflect on their behaviour and make amends by saying sorry to those that they have hurt.

Each week our school newsletters will feature some learning around the 3 Bees - Be Responsible, Be Respectful and Be Ready to Learn. The PB4L philosophy works on the celebration of the positive - our students have responded to this system extremely well.
